Can Driver Training Ensure Safety On The Road And Prevent Injury And Death?

Driver training is serious business when you consider that five thousand teenage lives are lost each year in traffic accidents. Particularly vulnerable are those budding lives between 15 and 19 and we have organized B.R.A.K.E.S. for them. These teenagers can attend basically free classes with a parent provided they possess a learner’s permit or license and have at least 30 hours of experience in this field. The non-profit Teen Pro Active Driving School conducts a single four hour session on the finer points of driving, held outdoors of course. Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe is what B.R.A.K.E.S. implies!

Though we all claim to be expert drivers of long experience, the casualty and road accident figures are absolutely stunning. Only a personal tragedy among near and dear ones wakes us up. That is what happened to NHRA drag racing star Doug Herbert when he lost two sons in an accident and decided to set up such a training program. The teen driver training idea was born to save further would be fatalities among the flowering youth.

While drive schools abound and each region has a different set of rules, much can be learned from accident situations. A little care on the part of the drivers, avoiding alcohol and drugs, and many lives and injuries may be saved.

You do have the online safe driving course, several of them in fact. How can driving be rendered safer? Concentrating more perhaps and avoiding distractions, effective control of the vehicle in crisis situations etc. Braking in emergencies and handling wet and icy road conditions could be emphasized.

Team up then with the best online driving school. A career in driving need not be daunting but ears and eyes need to remain open. A positive attitude and defensive drive should pay rich dividends and hopefully reduce injuries and deaths on the road.
